A Mom's Love...
Providing support for children who have faced a life altering challenge
My Dearest Gregory, My Pride and Joy:
From the moment I laid my eyes on your face 18 years
ago I knew deep within my soul that there was some-
thing very special about the tiny bundle I held tightly in
my arms. Your smile at birth told me you were given to
me and the world to change lives. The tremendous
courage you have demonstrated, even from the tender
age of 3, has been transforming. Because of your
strong spirit, determination and positive attitude you
have taught me the truest meaning in life: to live every
day to the fullest being thankful of what we have, never
showing envy for what we do not; to give back to other's always, first and foremost, with every
ounce of strength available in our bodies at the time no matter how tired and weary we are and
to never, ever use the word "can't". It is amazing for me, as your mother to watch you shine
transforming this world into a brighter, happier place. You touch people deeply without effort.
You are truly an amazing gift to this world and to me.
And if you are to be taken from us here on
earth early in life it is not my place to question
"Why?" but to accept and move forward
reminding people of the engraved mark
you've made for all eternity. I ache inside
thinking that my world, our world, could lose
your physical presence but I know deep in my
heart that we will be together once again. Until
that day, and I pray that it is a long time from
now, I will continue to love, support and
cherish you every moment I breath being the
proudest of mothers.
I thank you my Gregory for every thing you have done,
for what you continue to do and for what you will do in the future. God gave the world a
gift 18 years ago and I am proud, as I always have been, to say that you are my son.
"I'll love you forever, forever I'll love you. As long as I'm living my baby you'll be."
Ditto,
Mom
